**National Sales Manager - Aluminium System Fabricators**

Job Title: National Sales Manager - Aluminium System Fabricators

Industry Sector: Aluminium Windows, Aluminium Doors, Facades, Curtain Wall, Skylight, Patio Doors, Bi-Fold Doors, Shop-front Systems, Architectural Aluminium and Building Envelope

Area to be covered: National - ideally based North/ Midlands

Remuneration: £60,000 Basic and £100,000 OTE
Benefits: Electric or Hybrid Company Car and benefits
The role of the National Sales Manager - Aluminium System Fabricators will involve:

- Field sales man management role, promoting a range of extruded aluminium, (the range consists of aluminium windows, doors, façade and internal partitioning systems, as well as sectional garage doors, garage door automation and roller door components)
- Initially 50% man management, 50% field sales (covering the Midlands), migrating to 75% man management over time
- Responsible for 3 field sales from day with a view to recruiting a 4th to replace yourself in the short/medium term
- Responsible for a team target of circa £15m and a personal target of approx. £4m (approx. 25 aluminium fabricators)
- Tasked with doubling the turnover on the next 3 years
- Responsible for training, developing and, and mentoring
- Typical order value’s £10,000-£15,000, and range from £3,000-£60,000
- 100% focussed on the residential market, sales cycles will vary from 3-9 months
- Responsible for managing daily and weekly reports
- Liaise regularly with the Managing Director

The ideal applicant will be a National Sales Manager - Aluminium Systems to Fabricators with:

- Proven track record of managing and developing a field sales team
- Must come from the window & door / fenestration industry
- Ideally some experience or selling into window and door fabricators
- Open to plastic profile extruder backgrounds promoting UPVC
- Open to associated building products field sales backgrounds if sold to fabricators or distributors
- A basic technical understanding of aluminium systems or related products may be advantageous
- Excellent coaching, mentoring, training and leadership skills
- Technical, literate, excellent interpersonal skills, eye for detail and ambitious personality
