**Lecturer in Clinical Anatomy (Maternity Cover)**:
**Role**:
The Hull York Medical School is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Clinical Anatomy to join the Centre for Anatomical and Human Sciences (CAHS). Covering a period of maternity leave, the post-holder will contribute to the delivery and development of clinical and applied topographical human anatomy teaching and learning opportunities, whilst also creating, curating, and delivering teaching for our undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MSc) portfolios. The role will be based in the Hull York Medical School Anatomy facilities at the University of Hull, but the post-holder will deliver teaching on both the York and Hull sites.

**Background and Context**:
Hull York Medical School is a different kind of Medical School. The joint medical school of the Universities of Hull and York, we have a reputation as one of the UK's most exciting, contemporary schools. Our innovative curriculum and focus on problem-based learning and early and sustained clinical exposure ensures that students on our MBBS programme develop the problem-solving, analytical and communication skills and resilience needed to deliver a high standard of care to people with complex needs and from a variety of backgrounds.

Reporting to the Director of the Centre for Anatomical and Human Sciences (CAHS), the role holder will enhance the Centre’s academic team and advance the strategic development of the Centre; actively contributing to the development, delivery, and quality assurance of existing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at both the University of Hull and University of York campuses. The role holder will also a) take responsibility for aspects of delivery in the breadth of undergraduate and postgraduate clinical anatomy teaching, including CPD courses in clinical and applied anatomy, and b) supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
