**About the role**

Flogas Britain Ltd are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join the team based at our head office. You will be working as part of the payroll team processing 1300+ employees pay.

Payroll consists of a weekly payroll (approx. 400 employees) and 3 separate monthly payrolls (approx. 900 employees). Pensions, Childcare Vouchers, Attachment of Earnings Orders, etc will also form a part of the payroll duties.

**What you will be doing**

Responsible for the monthly and weekly payrolls, on a rota along with the payroll manager.
Maintaining all payroll information by collecting, calculating, entering data and processing for both monthly and weekly payroll incl timesheets.
Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering colleague pay queries.
Preparing bacs and third-party payments.
Ensuring all legislative regulations are adhered to, payments are timely and accurate and elements such as maternity, pensions, national insurance are calculated correctly.
You will also be assisting the Payroll Manager in month end accounting and reconciliations.
Pension administration.
Preparing reports and exporting data to excel for analysis.
You will work closely with the HR & Finance teams.

**About You**

Essential:
A high attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
High level of computer literacy including good working knowledge of Excel (Pivots, formulas etc)
Have an ability to remain calm under pressure to adhere to very tight deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent telephone manner

Desirable:
Previous payroll experience
Experience of working with an outsourced payroll company
I-Trent systems knowledge
Systems change/project experience
