**Marketing Account Director**

**Location: Remote**

Our client is currently seeking an ambitious Account Director to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. As an Account Director you will be the lead role for clients, partnered closely with a performance lead focused on retaining and growing theaccounts through helping them exceed their goals. You’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple verticals with senior clients at high growth companies (primarily SAS and Tech).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop strong, long standing client relationships at senior levels to foster loyalty, trust and repeat business
- Identify key areas of growth opportunity for your accounts including client development and retention planning
- Extend the agency’s footprint in existing accounts to promote growth
- Create and articulate strategic marketing proposals with passion in response to client challenges or identified opportunities
- Deliver on our client's ambitions, ensuring projects and programs are delivered on-time, to budget and to the highest standards
- Stay close to client performance to support leading strategic conversations without the need for specialist involvement
- Inspire, lead and mentor the team and particularly team members you work closely with to ensure the highest levels of client service
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, managing client financials and service levels
- Manage resource requirements and planning for your client's and the wider business, mapping out how to best run a client team within clear profit margins
- Negotiate with client's and other teams within the agency to get timely and quality deliverables
- Effectively manage client's and internal teams through tight briefs and high standards
- Resolve issues and challenges where necessary, in a timely manner and escalate where appropriate
- Share your voice across social channels, articulating things you’ve learned and your POV on the agency’s proposition

**Key Skills/Experience**:

- 2+ year in senior account management
- Experience presenting to senior stakeholders at a strategic level
- Track record of account growth and retention
- Experience managing mid to large sized B2B client's
- Experience managing paid media projects
- Experience within a fast-paced dynamic and remote environment
- Superb organisational skills (always with a plan of action and forward thinking goals)
- Validated leadership capability that inspires and effectiveness working collaboratively and cross functionally
- A great communicator (verbally and written)
- Start up mentality - bias to action, get stuck in approach, the ability to flex in a fast-paced environment, a proactive mindset to stay one step ahead, driven to succeed
- Keen attention to detail
