A Finance Assistant is required by CMA’s Christchurch, Dorset based client. Working within the hospitality sector, the Finance Assistant role will offer a fast-paced environment where responsibilities will include covering multiple sites. With a large financeteam, there will be opportunities to work with colleagues and develop cross-skills.
**What will the Finance Assistant role involve?**
- Working on Excel, utilising advanced features;
- High-volumes of varied reconciliations to include financials, bank accounts, petty cash and expenses;
- Journal preparation for banking, financials, expenses and petty cash;
- Daily bank entry posting, ensuring any discrepancies are resolved;
- Updating bank mandates and weekly banking;
- Processing VAT.
- Practical experience of bank reconciliation preparation;
- Understanding of VAT;
- Confident Excel user to an advanced level;
- Strong communicator both verbally and in writing;
- Able to evidence organisational skills to include working to strict deadlines;
- Access to a vehicle for periodic travel to other South Coast based locations.
