**Job Description**:
Sheridan Maine is collaborating with a well-established manufacturing business located on the outskirts of Christchurch to recruit for a Finance Assistant, who will play a pivotal role in handling day to day accounting transactions.
This role offers the opportunity for study support.
**The Finance Assistant will be responsible for the following key tasks**:

- Processing a significant volume of purchase ledger invoices- Supplier statement reconciliations and addressing supplier queries- Matching invoices with purchase orders- Processing weekly supplier payment runs- Petty cash reconciliation and journal posting- Sending customer invoices, updating statements and processing receipts- Managing daily bank postings, conducting monthly bank reconciliations, including multi-currency- Fixed Asset additions/disposals/depreciation- Assisting with month end tasks- Balance sheet reconciliations- Strong attention to detail and good time management skills- Previous experience in a similar accounting position- Intermediate Excel skills- Experience working in a manufacturing environment would be advantageousYou are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
