**Eastwick Park Medical Practice** currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motiviated individual to join our patient services team. The post will be 37.5 but 32.5 hours would be considered hours per week split across Monday to Friday.

The role will provide support to the administration and clinical teams in delivering high quality patient care and making a positive difference to the patient experience.

You will benefit from training and the support to develop expertise across all aspects of primary care administration.

**Main duties of the job**
- Signposting and liaising with patients
- Keeping the flow of information moving throughout the Practice
- General office tasks such as data entry, repeat prescriptions
- Provide assistance to the Admin Manager, and Operations Manager
- Workflow of patient information
- Patient recalls and chronic disease monitoring
- Undertaking the collection of pathological specimens including intravenous blood samples, swabs, etc.
- Undertaking NHS health checks and long term conditions health checks
- Ensure accurate notes of all consultations and treatments are recorded in the patient’s notes.
- Ensure accurate completion of all necessary documentation associated with patient health care and registration with the practice.
- In participation with the lead practice nurse and the practice manager, to ensure the maintenance of equipment and stock levels relating to patient care
- Undertake ECG recordings referred by GP as per protocol

**Qualifications**

**Essential**
- GCSE in English and Maths

**Desirable**
- A-Levels
- Qualified in NVQ level 2

**Experience**

**Essential**
- An ability to use own judgement, resourcefulness and common sense
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

**Disclosure and Barring Service Check**
