We have a current opportunity for a Employee Relations Advisor on a permanent basis. The position will be based in the City, London.

The role will manage a variety of cases and provide guidance and support to HR Business Partners, managers, employees, and ER specialist. The role will deal with a variety of employee relations issues and includes:

- Advise and coach managers across a wide range of employee relations issues considering the legislative framework and commercial outcome
- Demonstration of effective case management of people related issues such as: absence management, performance management, flexible working appeals, probationary processes, redundancies, grievances, disciplinaries and appeals from start to finish includingknowledge and experience of documentation drafting /interview procedures for Employee Relations investigations
- Documentation of investigatory findings and conclusions and responding to allegations in investigatory cases
- Influence managers and work with them to deal effectively and appropriately with the management of a range of performance, conduct and compliance issues
- Liaise with in-house Legal advisors & Employee Relations Specialist where necessary
- Experience of managing TUPE, off shoring and outsourcing initiatives beneficial
- Ability to build and maintain relationships throughout the organisation and partner with the business/wider HR function in order to resolve ER cases
- Knowledge of employee consultation processes and requirements for consultation
- Knowledge and experience within a regulated and organisationally complex environment
- Sound judgement and decision-making in the handling of sensitive employee matters
- Ability to assess risks with Employee Relations issues and take appropriate steps to achieve resolution of Employee Relations cases within the legal framework
- Client focused providing excellent customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Solid organisation skills with the ability to simultaneously manage conflicting and demanding clients, priorities and activities in a high-pressure environment
- Flexible in adapting to a dynamic, fast paced environment with a positive attitude and results driven
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and organisational skills are required in order to interact with all levels of management and employees
- Good counselling and advisory skills balanced with influencing techniques
