We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Head of Services for Recovery across HMP Preston, Lancaster, Kirkham and Styal. We are looking to recruit an ambitious and determined individual to make a difference and lead high quality prison services to support people in recovery from drugs or alcohol.

As Head of Drug & Alcohol Services (Recovery), you will play an integral role in developing the operational, strategic and service delivery elements of non-clinical recovery from drugs and alcohol within Spectrum Community Health CIC reporting to the Associate Director of Operations. The role profile will include specific responsibility to provide high quality management and visible operational leadership that embraces Spectrum’s Drug & Alcohol Service (Recovery) improvement agenda and enables the achievement of its strategic and contractual objectives, managing risk alongside Heads of Healthcare. This will include responsibility for team performance in line with the service specification. The post holder is responsible for contract management and operational leadership of the Drug & Alcohol Service (Recovery) Teams across NW sites. Reporting to the Associate Director they will ensure integration on services and reporting, working closely with the Heads of Healthcare. They will hold joint responsibility for managing stakeholder engagement and organisational change to forge corporate cohesion, unity and integrity: support development of workforce, practice and interventions aligned to service specifications with agreement on core staff competencies and behaviours. There will also be some oversight of subcontracted Recovery provision expected, to support the wider strategic approach and enhanced integration with and alongside North West Drug Strategy elements.
