Purpose of job

As part of our clearly defined vision for the CFO function and our Transformation strategy, we are implementation of a new planning and reporting tool. This will be pivotal in helping us to deliver a number of key objectives; to simplify the planning process, increase the ability to analyse our data, improve data integrity and single source of the truth, significantly reduce the time spent by Finance and the wider business planning and producing performance reports.

We are looking for a OneStream Specialist to join our Transformation Team. You will be the resident OneStream expert, working closely with our FP&A, Commercial Finance and Group Finance Teams to understand that requirements, provide insight and better IT solutions and enabling the business to deliver excellence. There will be three key aspects to the role; Lead Super User, System Administrator and Reports Expert.

Principle accountabilities

Lead Super User:

- Provide support to our OneStream users.
- Lead a small network of “super users” within Finance that will help to upskill our user base.
- Develop and provide training modules for OneStream users.
- Promote best practice and OneStream capabilities through collaboration with key stakeholders, allowing them to best meet their expectations.
- Assist in prioritising and managing stakeholder expectations.

System Administrator:

- Be the lead system administrator for OneStream; setting up user access, maintaining meta data, hierarchies etc.
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of OneStream.
- Monitor system performance, use of the system and oversee any upgrades, resolving problems and issues as or when they arise.
- Work closely with supply partners and the Landsec Tech Team.

Reports Expert:

- Manage and implement the specification and development of reports to support the business.
- Document and establish processes with respect to capturing relevant data so we can measure key reporting indicators (KPIs) to help shape any recommendations.
- Advise as to how OneStream can be used to better capture and report information.

- Technical expertise and a strong management information background, with analytical and planning skills.

Knowledge, experience and qualifications

Essential
- Proven knowledge and experience of OneStream (or Hyperion) system administration.
- Experience in creating OneStream (or Hyperion) Data Cubes and reports.
- Good knowledge of basic accounting concepts to support financial information modelling.
- Experience of managing different stakeholders, working toward common objectives and within tight deadlines.
- Experience of supporting user communities in developing their OneStream capabilities.
- Proven ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets, communicating the findings of that work effectively.
- Proven experience of influencing key stakeholders on a project or programme of work.

Desirable
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field.
