Oxford, United Kingdom University of Oxford Full time

**Financial Systems Technical Change Coordinator**

The post of Financial Systems Technical Change Coordinator is central to the effective management (including testing) of changes within all Financial Systems, including required patches and updates, and contributing to a continuous development programme.

The University of Oxford is a stimulating work environment, which enjoys an international reputation as a world-class centre of excellence. Our research plays a key role in tackling many global challenges, from reducing our carbon emissions to developing vaccines during a pandemic.

The Finance Division supports the academic, research and administrative community at the University providing sound financial advice and timely information with a range of support services including financial operations, financial reporting, financial support and professional services.

**What We Offer**

As an employer, we genuinely care about our employees’ wellbeing and this is reflected in the range of benefits that we offer including:

- An excellent contributory pension scheme
- 38 days annual leave
- A comprehensive range of childcare services
- Family leave schemes
- Cycle loan scheme
- Discounted bus travel and Season Ticket travel loans
- Membership to a variety of social and sports clubs
- A welcoming and diverse community

**About the Role**

The role will involve: working closely with the rest of the Financial Processes, Systems and Assurance (FPSA) team, liaising with internal customers, IT Services and external third-party developers and vendors; operational responsibilities to deliver and maintain high quality documentation; and testing and delivering functional changes requested by stakeholders. You will follow ITiL compliant processes, and contribute to ensuring financial administration is in line with the University’s strategies and in line with financial good practice.

You will report to the Financial Systems Technical Change Lead, and work closely with colleagues across the Financial Processes, Systems and Assurance Team, as well as working collaboratively with stakeholders within the Finance Division, across the University, and with external suppliers.

The post is predominantly home based, with a minimum one day per week office requirement within the FPSA area at our Hythe Bridge Street office. The post-holder may be required to visit users in their offices across Oxford.

**About You**

The successful applicant will be competent in preparing and delivering functional requirements through the ITIL change management framework. A robust and thorough approach to change management will be essential as we embark upon our digital transformation programme of activity.

Although the role focuses on the Oracle eBusiness Suite, an understanding of our other core financial systems (including SAP Concur, ICM TM1 Cognos, Sage 200 and other integrations) will be advantageous.

Proactively managing positive and insightful communications with an array of stakeholders is key to success in this role.

**Application Process**

**Committed to equality and valuing diversity
