The Financial Systems Technical Change Lead will be responsible for managing change and development on the University’s financial systems.

**About the Role**

The Financial Systems Technical Change Lead is responsible for the delivery, including testing, of required patches and updates, and contributing to a continuous development programme. You will be passionate about understanding our customers’ needs, while recognising the need to work sensitively with stakeholders across the University.

You will report to the Financial Systems Service Delivery Manager, and work closely with colleagues across the Financial Processes, Systems and Assurance Team, as well as working collaboratively with stakeholders within the Finance Division, the Process Oversight Groups, and with external suppliers. You will line manage the Financial Systems Technical Change Coordinator(s). This is an exciting, newly created post and offers opportunities for the postholder to drive improvements in the teams’ current ways of working.

You will be based in Hythe Bridge Street but you may be able to agree a pattern of regular remote working with your line manager.

**About You**

You will have a good knowledge of functional and technical perspectives of configuration and technical architecture of Oracle Financials R12.2, including how finance processes map to the functionality, as well as familiarity with finance functions and basic accounting concepts. You will have experience with the technical aspects of system and change management including development and testing.

You will have strong teamwork and leadership skills, and proven ability to build excellent working relationships and work effectively as part of a wider team and with a wide range of stakeholders, including external suppliers.
