We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, friendly, and enthusiastic, possessing good communication skills and be able to work within a team setting.

On the PANDA unit we are a dedicated team who provide excellent treatment and care for unwell children and Young People in the Emergency Department at Salford Care Organisation.

We are passionate about delivering safe, clean and personal care for the patient and their family as well as ensuring a positive work environment where staff can thrive.

Main duties of the job

You will assist clinical and nursing staff to deliver timely high-quality care in line with Trust Values, providing patient care according to the individual patient’s needs.

**Qualifications**:
Essential criteria
- NVQ level 3 in caring or equivalent clinical experience

Knowledge and skills

Essential criteria
- Experience dealing with members of the public
- Evidence of working as a team member
- Able to undertake: ECG's
- Able to undertake: wound care
- Able to undertake: venepuncture

Desirable criteria
- Evidence of working with children
- Experience working in an acute healthcare setting
