Mander Portman Woodward (MPW) is an independent education provider and one of the best known and most well-respected independent colleges in the UK. We are looking for a Head of International Admissions Compliance to lead MPW’s international admissions policies and practices consistent with UKVI regulations.

Based at our Head Office in South Kensington the international admissions function supports both UK based recruiters, those situated in-country and in our regional hub offices in Hong Kong. International admissions, UKVI sponsorship and compliance is the core function of the role, with compliance extending to both internal and external audits on international student records.

This is a fast-paced and varied role, with a great opportunity for progression for someone with strong experience in international admissions compliance.

**About The Role**

You will:

- Lead the pre-arrival international admissions administration for MPW colleges, providing effective communication with students, parents and agents throughout each stage of the admissions process.
- Develop and refine the administration process, and improve the student experience through working with IT and our CRM developer to utilise our technology platforms.
- Collate all documentation from students required for final registration and for issuing of CAS. Create both draft and final CASs and take ownership of the UKVI sponsorship and our SMS account.
- Provide timely reporting on admissions data and sponsorship data.
- Develop strong relationships through training and regular communication with international agents
- Support the MPW Principals and our Authorising Officer (Kaplan) in maintaining our UKVI compliance
- Prepare for and support both annual licence renewals and UKVI audits
- Act as a ‘Key Contact’ for the UKVI with regards to MPW’s obligations under its sponsor licence, undertaking reporting on the SMS for any change in circumstance
- Liaise with colleagues in the compliance function at MPW’s parent company, Kaplan, remaining updated on compliance based activity

**About You**

You have:

- Experience working in an international educational environment
- Understanding and experience of UKVI requirements (Tier 4), as well as knowledge of the UK education system in the context of overseas students
- Experience of developing and maintaining institutional policies and procedures
- Experience of interpreting regulatory frameworks and detailed understanding of their implication and impact
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, as well as the ability to work with database and CRM systems
- Friendly, clear communication skills
- High quality attention to detail. As well as the ability to prioritise, meet deadline and work under pressure
- Proven ability to analyse and interpret complex written material in order to develop policies and procedures
