Construction Administrator

My client is one of the North Easts leading contractors specialising in; section 38, section 278, groundworks, and remediation and surfacing works.
Based in Billingham, Stockton - on - Tees, they service all areas across the Northeast and throughout the UK.
Due to continued growth and investment in their people they have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Construction Administrator to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Being the first point of call for all incoming enquiries
- Setting up various job files
- Tracking and logging all jobs on various bespoke databases
- Setting up contracts on the system with all relevant information required
- Keeping records and information for all jobs up to date for the company
- Creating project packs for all contracts including various documents.
- Coordinate all jobs throughout its life with the company
- To work alongside and support other departments and colleagues when required
- Processing invoices, reconciling delivery notes and purchase orders
- Accurate contract costing/coding for input onto computerised accounts packages
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Deal with creditor and internal purchase queries
- Filing of invoices and statements
What we are looking for
- General Accounting Experience advantageous
- A confident, friendly, and approachable team player able to work to strict deadlines in a busy environment and willing to always help others
- High level of accuracy and a keen eye for detail with strong organisational skills to manage workload.
- Role flexibility
- Competent working with MS Office and Excel and outlook.
- Self-motivated - improvement orientated with a desire to undertake any other relevant training deemed necessary to enhance performance
This will be a busy role within a small team and suited to a diligent worker, with excellent attention to detail and keen to learn and progress in the role.
