Payroll Coordinator

Jackson Hogg is supporting a well known international manufacturing company on their search for a Payroll Coordinator. This role is initially a 12 month contract with the vison of becoming permanent.
**Package**:
- 12 month contract with the ability to become permanent

- Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 DOE
- Hybrid working - Mon-Wed office working and Thurs-Fri Home
- Full time 37.5 - Flexible hour between 7am-6pm
- Holidays 27 + BH

**Job Purpose**:The Payroll Coordinatorwill be primarily responsible for the preparation, coordination and processing of a variety of UK & International payrolls along with the payroll activity required for Global Mobility processes. The role ensures payroll legislative compliance, accurate and on-time payroll processing, provision of post payroll reporting and will provide support, where required, to the wider business but specifically the HR Shared Services and HR Teams.
**Principal Accountabilities**:
Payroll & Legislative Compliance
- Coordinate and process payroll activity for one UK pay group and jointly coordinate international payrolls for the following locations: France, Belgium, Netherlands, South Africa, Singapore, South Korea, Brazil, Finland.
- Ensure legislative deadlines are met and regulatory requirements adhered to in relation to payroll reporting & statutory payments.
- Complete internal monthly payroll reconciliation to ensure accuracy, reporting errors where applicable and supporting in ongoing process improvement.
- Ensure payroll accuracy and complete all relevant payroll and 3rd party payments in accordance with internal payroll calendars.
- Support in the production of statutory employee documentation such as P60, P11D and the equivalent documentation for the international locations. Support with PSA reporting.
- Complete post-payroll reporting requirements both internally and externally, including GL production and other accounting file distribution as well as FPS/EPS for the UK and equivalent for international locations.
- To provide a professional and a can-do service to all stakeholders.
**Pension and Benefits Administration**
- Responsible for the Pension administration of the company pension scheme in relation to pension contributions, starters, leavers and ad-hoc changes.
- Responsible for ensuring up to date payment for company benefits both UK and internationally.
**Global Mobility Payroll Administration**
- Responsible for the monthly production of payroll proformas documentation what is processed through shadow payrolls for international assignments.
- Ensure payroll accuracy and system maintenance in relation to shadow payroll operations.
- Liaise with Tax Partner to agree and implement hypotax calculations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting across home and host payroll locations.
- Gather company travel information for employees, monitoring days spent in each country.
- Support with legislative reporting such as Appendix 4, Employer Related Securities and other international requirements.
- Support with the management of Director payments including board fees and equity administration plus relevant payroll reporting.
- 2-4 years’ experience in Payroll administration (either UK & international or UK only)
- Ability to work independently as well as being a strong team player
- Enthusiastic and constructive mindset with a willingness and ability to build and improve efficiencies
- Computer literate with proficiency in Excel
- Knowledge of Resourcelink payroll or Workday HCM Beneficial
- Knowledge of international payrolls desirable but not essential, training will be provided
- Attention to detail and a can do attitude
