Job Title: Payroll Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk with extensive knowledge of Sage Payroll and time keeping software, on a part time, permanent basis, to join our team.
You will be a friendly, professional, confidential and approachable individual capable of offering high quality throughout the payroll process. Someone who can communicate well at all levels offering advice where necessary.
**Specific Tasks**:
- Maintain accurate payroll records ensuring all relevant information is up to date and readily available.
- Update time keeping software on a daily basis ensuring accurate records for around 200 employees.
- Process holiday requests, sickness records and any other leave requirements
- Review employee timesheets, liaising with management, ensuring their accuracy prior to posting to Sage Payroll.
- Ensure bonuses and other allowances are correctly administered and paid in a timely manner.
- Carry out regular Sage data checks helping to minimise payroll anomalies.
- Updating Tax codes, parental and sick leave into payroll
- Engage with employees wherever required ensuring accurate time keeping for all staff.
- Provide general payroll advice assisting management where able.
- Ensure continued GDPR compliance.
- Maintain/Update payroll reports, providing site specific data for senior management, using Microsoft Excel
- Any other ad-hoc duties reporting required for the benefit of the group.
**Qualifications & Experience required**
- GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Math and English
- Minimum 1 Years payroll experience
**Desired knowledge & skills**
- Confidence using Sage Payroll
- Experience using time recording software
- Confident user of Microsoft Excel with the ability to organise data in Excel for reporting.
- The ability to work alone whilst also having the capacity to work as part of a team.
- The ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing workload.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Good working knowledge of GDPR data protection legislation.
Expected hours: 25 per week (Monday to Friday) (5 Days per Week)

Pay: £16,250.00-£18,200.00 per year
