**YOUR ROLE**:
Become part of** Strategic Growth Industries Team** as an **Global Affairs Intern **and take the first steps towards game-changers' world. As an intern you will contribute to the implementation of the EURONORTH public affairs strategy focusing on ecosystem building and public sector business development.

**The base location will be London.**

**WHAT WILL YOUR JOB BE**:

- Monitor the political scene and regulations linked to innovation and sustainability in order to detect changes that could potentially impact Dassault Systemes in EURONORTH (UK, Ireland, BENELUX, Nordic countries). Report on these changes and implications.
- Identify sources of public funding (eg. R&D support) and support Dassault Systemes’ teams in looking after the social value and corporate documentation parts of public tenders.
- Support business development efforts and actively contribute to transforming them into significant deals, including through the attendance of meetings, conferences and events.
- Work closely with our public affairs’ agency to coordinate thought leadership activities such as position paper drafting, public consultation responses on public policies, webinars, etc.
- Build stakeholder and ecosystem maps for key industrial sectors supported by public funding/public policy (e.g. energy, infrastructure, rail)
- Lead relationships with our public affairs partners - as well as create internal network to support the whole EURONORTH business
- Gather intelligence on political trends, key influencers for Dassault Systemes’ strategic industries such as “new energy” (batteries, hydrogen, nuclear, etc.) or “digital twins”.

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Studying towards a degree in Political Sciences, International Relations, UK Policy and Politics or similar
- Knowledge and interest in the public sector challenges/opportunities
- Excellent Research & Analytical Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of network building
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take directions and work in a team but also be a self-starter and work to deadlines
- Good organization skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, responsible, proactive and able to thrive in diverse and international teams
- A passion for technology, sustainability and public policy would be a plus
