**Employment Type**: 18 Month Apprenticeship

**Location** - Nantgarw, Cardiff. We are a hybrid team with a minimum requirement for you to be in the office three a week. The other 2 days you can ‘work your way’.

**Salary** - £16,500 with achievable team bonus

**Working hours** - Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm or 9am to 5pm. No weekends

An incredible opportunity to join our Customer Care team in a rapidly growing company, Alcumus We are offering two apprenticeship roles that sit within our customer care team and is vital to the daily operations of Alcumus SafeContractor.

During this 18-month apprenticeship you will gain ‘on the job’ experience, develop new skills and contribute to the growth of the company. You’ll enrol onto a course completely tailored to your experience and abilities, with allocated time for you to study in our Cardiff Office and you’ll be supported throughout your learning by Coleg Y Cymoedd, your line manager and the Future Talent Business Partner at Alcumus.

You’ll support our customers through their accreditation process with Alcumus. We aim to deliver the highest standard of service to our valued clients at all touch points of their journey. We realise we are all far better working together, not only with our immediate team but also wider business areas. We’re always collaborating, sharing ideas and knowledge to help improve our working environment... and that’s where you come in

**What that means day to day**
- Provide bespoke solutions in line with individual customer needs.
- You will be able to work autonomously, and you will be encouraged to give feedback and suggestions to help improve the customer experience.
- Inform customers of ways they can gain value from their membership with us from other Alcumus products and update them on additional membership benefits.
- Share knowledge within the team and contribute within team meetings.

(Full training will be provided on all of the above)

**What you’ll need to be successful**

If you’re someone with great communication skills, the ability to build good relationships with peers and external stakeholders, and have a desire to work in a company where you will be able to continue learning, this is a great opportunity launch your career in the world of customer service

**Desirable**:
Previous work experience within Retail, Customer Care or Call Centre environment would be an advantage but not required.
