You will need to understand client's requirements and objectives and work with both in-country teams as well as GPS in order to advise and manage the Global Payroll Solution for the client. This could include drafting of the client's specifications, adviceon local country requirements, and configuration of the appropriate platform along with testing, training and review of the payrolls whilst under the care of the Service Delivery team. The role will also require keeping the process manuals up to date and ifneeded the drafting of process manuals.
You will often be the first point of escalation and will need to be proactive, able to problem solve, identifying, analysing and documenting issues and driving resolution. This role is critical to ensure we understand the client's requirements as well ashow they currently process payroll in order to implement solutions for global payroll to budget and on time.
You should be deadline driven, organised, methodical and efficient with an eye for detail and good communication skills. You will have experience of global payroll and a strong technical payroll knowledge is required

**Responsibility**:
You will be responsible for the end to end of the implementation process: developing the implementation plan, co-ordinating with both the client's teams as well as our own internal teams, ensuring that evolve (our global payroll platform) is set up correctlyas well as developing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure we can meet the timeline in line with our contractual commitments:
- Undertake discovery sessions with clients, local delivery teams and internal teams to
- Understand and document current processes and map these to future state
- Identify gaps and work with clients and development teams to agree & document any process changes, additional development and/or agreed workarounds
- Understand local payroll requirements and determine how these can be mapped against our payroll platform
- Identify and implement potential process improvements
- Agree and document project objectives
- Agree timelines and prepare implementation plans, ensuring that the client, as well as our teams, fully understand their responsibilities
- Manage the implementation plan and budget, reporting to key stakeholders on progress and highlighting any variance as well as any potential issues
- Understand the contractual agreements in place with each client and ensure our solution will meet these commitments
- Working with our internal IT teams, ensure that our global payroll platform, evolve, is set up and configured correctly, undertaking the relevant testing before commencing implementation
- Working with our clients, ensure that the required datasets are provided on-time and can be processed in evolve; providing feedback and supporting the clients where there are issues
- Ensure parallel testing processes and requirements are fully documented and agreed with all stakeholders
- Ensure successful delivery of parallel and post-Service Delivery activities : including the review of payroll results, co-ordination with clients and in country teams, and issue identification & resolution
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients as well as our in country teams during implementations including:
- Regular update meetings/calls with local payroll teams to review client service and project progress
- Manage project governance including toll gate reviews and approvals
- Undertake ongoing process improvement to support the efficient delivery of payroll services to our clients including working with internal teams to identify potential improvements, support development, update documentation and train users
- Prepare and deliver training sessions on platform and process changes to clients as well as internal users and in country teams
- Support the recruitment and development of team members
- Assist in payroll bids and pre-sales activities including presentations and workshops

- Graduate in Accounting, Business Administration/Management or Finance or equivalent
- Excellent organisational, administration and project planning skills
- At least 5 years' payroll experience including Service Delivery and implementation of new payrolls and use of global payroll platforms
- At least 3 years' experience of managing global implementations
- Experience of leading process discovery discussions, mapping as-is to to-be, identifying gaps and developing solutions
- Experience of analyzing customer requirements and preparing development documents and change requests
- Excellent analytical skills and experience of problem solving in a payroll environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Initiative and creativity within the parameters of policy and procedures
- Ability to work well within a multicultural team
- Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage multiple projects in addition to day to day activities.
- Flexibility and a willingness to undertake additional tasks, as required
- Knowledge of international payroll & compensation, social security and tax issues is preferred
- CIPP or equivalent qualification strongly preferred
- Prince 2 or equivalent qualification preferred
