Sales Administrator

The Best Connection are recruiting for a sales administrator to join one of our rapidly growing clients based in the South Birmingham area. This will be an ongoing position which can start immediately after a successful interview. Working in an office environment with experienced colleagues, the role will involve dealing with administrative duties whilst managing customer & business to business sales.
**The role of the sales administrator**:
- To hunt new potentials and onboard new business.
- To update monthly sales figures for the Sales Manager.
- Conduct data/diary entry to maintain accurate sales records.
- Sending sampling to promote products.
**Key Skills and experience required**:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Customer focused with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of and ability to use Excel and Outlook.
- Positive, confident, friendly, and conscientious character who is able to work as part of a team.
**Hours of work**:
- Monday-Friday 08:30-16:30
**Pay rate**:
- £11.44 - £12.50 per hour
**Benefits & Requirements**:
- Hourly rate as above, or the appropriate National Minimum Wage (age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Ongoing Assignment
- Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
