**The role**

**What will you be doing?**

We are looking for a Senior Security professional to join our team providing incident response and cyber defence to ensure that our environment is protected.

**What will you bring?**

The SIEM platform requires tuning, including detection and the alert logic requires optimisation and maintenance. You’ll investigate, analyse and react to cyber incidents and be pro-active in monitoring and using data from cyber defence tools to analyse events that occur to mitigate threats.

To be successful in this role you’ll need to be experienced within a Senior Security role within security operations or cyber defence, with detection and threat experience, and as a senior member of the team you will be able to support and mentor others.

Ideally you'll also be experienced in Splunk, Zscaler and Proofpoint.
