The Safety Co-ordinator is an integral part of the Norse Safety Team. In this role you will support the Safety Management System (SMS) across both AOCs.

This is a unique opportunity to join the organisation at its’ early stages and would enable you to play an invaluable part in building a robust SMS; Supporting our day-to-day operations with a safety focus is essential as we are moving through our start-up phase and forward into 2023.

The role will have a Shared Service to both UK & Norway AOCs and report to Safety Manager Norway and Safety Manager UK

**Responsibilities and duties**
- LGW / Arendal / OSL based
- Investigate safety occurrences / support adhoc investigations
- Support part time safety officers
- Follow-up safety actions
- Create and/or track surveys and safety KPIs (SPIs)
- Create statistical safety reports
- Safety system software data management
- Maintain training records
- Review and maintain safety dept documentation
- Create and contribute to safety publications (including review of external publications on a regular basis where relevant)
- Attend safety meetings as required
- Ensure all meetings are minuted
- Travel within the UK, Norway and overseas may be required on an adhoc basis

**Skills and qualifications**

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Relevant aviation related degree, aviation engineering licence and/or commercial pilot qualification, or
- Minimum 2 years experience in an aviation safety role relating to flight operations or CAMO/Part 145 activities
- Recognised industry Safety Management Systems training
- Working knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
- Working knowledge of safety management systems (eg Centrik, IQSMS, SafetyNet)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Right to live and work in the UK and/or Norway
- Driving license accepted in EU/Norway/UK
- No restrictions to travel in EU/USA
