**Key areas of responsibility**:
A key member of team who will provide leadership and vision for Production, Continuous Improvement and Planning. You will lead your team and use your skills to maximise customer satisfaction, through ensuring cost effective delivery.

Initially managing a team of around 12, the position has huge potential to develop & grow into a larger role moving into other areas of the business.

You will provide overall responsibility for all resources assigned to the Machine Shop, to achieve all quality, cost and service objectives and to ensure all quality programs, initiatives and commitments are maintained and enhanced.

You will support the achievement of meeting KPI's and daily operational targets, ensuring a high standard of work quality is maintained at all times within the team. Managing and monitoring of new processes and identifying any areas of development withinthe workplace.

**About you**:

- Production leader with a mechanical bias and CNC / machining background
- Knowledge of Stock control and using MRP systems
- Experience of Material Management
- Purchasing experience
- Experience of managing Machinery/Assembly
- Solid IT skills including Excel
- Good communication skills at all levels
- Quality Awareness
- Experience of working in a target driven environment
