Finance and Payroll Assistant

Job description
The Finance and Payroll Assistant supports the work of the Finance, Payroll and Administration Teams at the heart of the Grayton business. The role will encompass day to day bookkeeping tasks, support for the processing of weekly payroll and the undertaking of business administrative requirements.
**Key responsibilities**:
Key responsibilities include but are not restricted to:
Assisting with the process of weekly payroll
Maintaining spreadsheets
Working with Sales Ledger
- Labour costing
- Sales Invoicing
Working with Purchase Ledger
- Statement Reconciliation
Processing Purchase Invoices
- Invoice Matching
- GRN’s
Providing administrative support to the business
Working closely with individuals across the Finance and Administration Department and elsewhere in the business.
Enthusiastic, committed and a fast learner with previous experience of a busy environment.
Computer literate with an aptitude for numbers
Strong communication skills
Ability to work with individuals across departments and liaise with external customers and contacts
Solid organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £17,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
