An excellent opportunity has been made available by my client an established housing provider in the UK. My client has a large portfolio of supported living projects and offers generic housing management and supported housing services.

**Vacancy Brief**:

- The role is that of a Support Worker; this is a 3-to-5-month contract, to be considered for extension and/or permanence.
- This role is a Part time role of 25 hours a week.
- Working between the core hours of Monday - Friday 09:00am - 5:00pm
- Pay rate for this role is £15.00 per hour on PAYE OR £19.00 Umbrella.
- Based in London

**The Responsibilities**:

- In your role as a Housing Support Worker, you will be tasked with developing and providing an effective and high-quality service to tenants.
- As a Housing Support Worker, you will be required to support tenants to the highest standard and in line with their support plan, cultural needs and wishes.
- An important part of your role as a Housing Support worker will be to support people to manage their own home, including supporting individuals with maintaining their tenancies and giving support and guidance when individuals move home.
- As a Housing Support worker, you will be required to understand and act upon safeguarding concerns.
- The Housing Support worker will need to support clients with life skills (including financial budgeting, diet, nutrition, and exercise) and empower them to make a positive contribution to society.
- As a Housing Support worker, in this job you will also need to identify and scope advocacy services for clients and signpost them for to relevant sources of information, support, guidance, and advice.
- Furthermore, in this vacancy you will also be required to adhere to the organisations health and safety policy, maintain accurate records in line with the service provider.

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
