Link to Change are pleased to recruit for the role of Youth Intervention Practitioner.

30-37 hours per week considered.

We are seeking someone who can work in a multi-agency and community setting, alongside professionals from social care, the police services and the voluntary sector. The role entails safeguarding vulnerable young people from child exploitation and helping them to rebuild their lives. Experience in engaging children and young people aged 7 to 26 years and delivering training sessions are necessary skills.

We are committed to having young peoples' voice at the heart of our organisation, all employees support young peoples right to a voice and assist them to influence the sector. You will support the planning and delivery of our participation group and youth led projects.

**A clean driving licence and use of a car with appropriate insurance is essential.**

**Person Specification**
- Proven experience in the area of social care/youth work/education/heath or related sector.
- Experience of delivering group work and training.
- Experience of working with children and young adults (7-26 years).
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with young people, their families & professionals, in order to provide a trusting service.
- Having an understanding of the world in which young people live in, including recognising issues such as exploitation, online safety and well-being.
- Ability to prioritise, plan, monitor and evaluate work.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to record activity and actions computerised database

**Salary**: £25,460.00-£26,650.00 per year
