The role of the Sales Director - Lifting & Fixing Systems will involve:
- Joining as part of the senior leadership team helping map out the strategic direction of the business from a sales prospective
- Implement the sales strategy to market through team
- Managing a team of 5 internal / external sales professionals
- Looking to grow the team in the years after
- Dealing with key stakeholders within main contractors, structural engineers and specifiers
- Dealing with order values ranging from £20k - £600k on multimillion pound projects normally North of £20m+
- A typical project would be a 30 storey high rise residential building
- Reporting directly to MD
The ideal applicant will be a Sales Director - Lifting & Fixing Systems with:
- Must have senior sales experience in the construction industry
- Must have people management experience
- Must be entrepreneurial, ambitious and driven
- Ideally have both contractor & specification sales experience however would consider either or
- Ideally from a fixings, lifting, anchoring systems, restraint systems, facades, precast, brickworks, building envelope, precast façade, glazing, glass façade, balcony fixing, cladding, background however will be open for the right person
- Ideally have an civil or structural engineering degree or related qualifications
- Ideally have experience dealing with glass façade contractors, stone façade contractors, brickwork contractors and concrete frame contractors
- Ideally have site experience
- Genuine ‘get up and go’ work ethic
- Results orientated and outgoing
