An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading Manufacturing company. The business is looking to bring an experienced OSHE Manager to play a key role across their FMCG manufacturing site. You will be experienced in working across all aspects of OSHE activitiessuch as strategy, policy, planning and governance, culture change, operations management & occupational health. This is an excellent opportunity with long term stability & technical challenge.
**Role Description**
- _Deploy the global/cluster SHE strategy, policy and standards in the site to achieve excellent sustainable results _
- _Coordinate the site teams in order to deliver Occupational Health, Safety and Environment targets and objectives _
- _Drive safety and environment risk assessment and develop/implement appropriate controls _
- _Reduce the site's environmental impact in the areas of hazardous & non-hazardous waste, CO2 emissions and water & energy consumption _
- _Lead the Safety Pillar in accordance with WCM Continuous Improvement Methodology _
- _Develop a thorough understanding of the Process Safety Management Program _
- _Influence all levels of the team, driving safety and environmental leadership as an active member of the Site Leadership Team _
- _Monitor site legal compliance and ensure the site meets all local and national regulatory requirements and standards, provide advice on national SHE legislation requirements & implement relevant procedures and policies _
- _Conduct trend analysis from incidents, near misses, safe behaviour observations and deep compliance audits _
- _Develop and deploy internal SHE is auditing and inspection systems, participate in audits of other organisations as required _
- _Determine training needs and assist in delivery of training programs
- **Skills and Qualifications**:

- _Experience working in Supply Chain operations _
- _Excellent working knowledge of safety, health and environmental legislation _
- _Manufacturing and/or Engineering experience _
- _NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or working towards _
- _Chartered Membership IOSH _
- _Experience working in an FMCG / Food / Refreshments environment_
