**Your New role**

You will use your experience to lead the development of relevant processes and procedures, ensuring they adopt best practice, intelligence insights and ad-hoc changes for maximum customer benefit.

This is a hybrid working role. This position will be based in Guildford, Basingstoke or Maidstone.

You also may be required to work across the South East region when required (Maidstone, Godstone or Basingstoke)

**Key Accountabilities**
- Proactively analysing the effectiveness of existing plans and arrangements in meeting service level expectations and implement improvement initiatives; manage risks and issues that affect delivery.
- Providing advice and consultancy where required to minimise the impact to Operations in the event of an emergency.
- To develop and recommend best practice methods for the ongoing improvement of processes and activities in scope.
- Proactively liaising with regional Operations colleagues (e.g. Service Delivery and Scheme Delivery) and wider internal and external stakeholders to minimise the impact of planned and unplanned events on customers.
- Manage Network Resilience funding, identifying proposed schemes, liaising with service providers to develop opportunities, prioritising funding aligned to risk
- To be aware of international, national and regional risks - abnormal loads, major projects, events, industrial action and to communicate risks and coordinate associated activity.

**To be Successful**
- Experience in contingency and business continuity planning and understanding of business objectives for resilience.
- Health and safety legislation, regulations, working practices and procedures.
- Understanding of Crisis Management principles.
- Evidence of working successfully with a wide range of internal and external Stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- Good written and verbal communications skills
