**Assistant Psychologist**

**Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2024.**

An exciting vacancy has arisen for an Assistant Psychologist to work alongside the Suicide Prevention Lead in Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, after the previous postholder left to take up clinical training. The role offers a unique opportunity to learn about NHS services and to link with voluntary sector and public health services, contributing to a broad range of projects.

This is an ideal role for someone with audit and/or service evaluation and quality improvement skills who is embarking on a career in Psychology, or who wants to develop their interest in Suicide Prevention.

**This role will involve a mixture of remote/online meetings and face to face duties.**

The post holder will work under the direct supervision and line management of the Principal Clinical Psychologist who is the Lead for Suicide Prevention.
