A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Sales Manager to join an excellent Sheetmetal Fabrication company in the Gloucester area. You'll be covering a patch 150 mile radius around Gloucester.

With no day ever being the same the Technical Sales Manager role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class manufacturing environment.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Pro-actively determine new sales leads
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Successfully create business from new customer accounts
- Grow the business through sub-contract sales but also the companies own product
- Work with the Sales Estimator to generate new quotations and provide feedback in the CRM system.
- Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers
- Work with the Business Manager to devise Sales strategies and budget requirements for new customers
- Daily/ Weekly sales update reports
- Work closely with other departments to close business opportunities.
- Continuous feedback to Marketing / Engineering / Support departments of customer requirements and expectations.
- Define / create and maintain literature if required

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:

- A minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Sales Executive or similar experience
- Previous experience within a sheet metal engineering background or experience in selling sheet metal cabinet/ enclosures to B2B or B2C markets.
- An understanding of sheet metal estimating would be advantageous but not essential.
- A marketing background to help develop the image of the company would be beneficial but not essential.
- A hunger for excelling and looking to further your career within a sales environment
- Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems
- Be targets driven, with demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of initiative with an attention to detail and accuracy.
- Admin skills inc diary/time management and efficient planning
