Our returning VVIP clients are seeking a highly experienced and professional Houseman for their fully staffed residence based in **Abingdon**.

The Houseman will be responsible for the heavy housework within the Estate and report to the Estate Services Manager and ensure that principals’ residence and all other properties meet the highest standards of cleanliness possible.

**Full-time 5 days per week on rotation**

**Primary responsibilities/duties**:

- Maintain the cleanliness of the exterior structures within property, clean windows throughout property, walkways, patios, and parking areas.
- Clean, maintain and organize the Pool Deck and all furniture and umbrellas, clean, and sanitize bathrooms, exterior furniture including pressure washing sanding and oiling.
- Maintenance of clay tennis court.
- Automobile and Golf Cart maintenance which includes washing, waxing, vacuuming, etc.
- Ensure all of principles vehicles supply a cell phone which is fully functional
- Mobile phones must be 100% charged and checked daily.
- Maintain and clean lights and light fixtures throughout property, ensure that light bulbs are working and replace as needed.
- Responsible for setting up, maintaining and break down of furniture during events, bins collection and removal and maintaining collection area clean and sanitary.
- Transportation of high-end furniture and priceless art between estates and warehouses.
- Running company errands as needed.
- Organization and cleanliness of warehouses.
- Pressure wash ponds and roof tops of private estates.
- Other duties as assigned by Estate Services Manager.

**Related Skills**:

- Must possess valid Driver’s License and maintain a satisfactory CA DMV record and be in possession of auto insurance policy.
- Personal vehicle use is required to travel between property locations. Mileage reimbursement through the client.
- Ability to be on-call and participate in 24-hour radio/pager rotations, which may result in additional compensation as required by law.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts of morning and evenings along with weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks demonstrating good time management.
- Familiarity with cleaning standards.
- High energy level and stamina along with the ability to exhibit attention to details is a must.

**Salary**: negotiable, from £52K gross annual

**Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.**
