Staff Nurse

**Role Summary**
- To provide clinical leadership and operational management support for a team of care staff over a period of a working shift.
- As a named nurse, take overall responsibility for the assessment, care planning, implementation, delivery and review of nursing care and effectively assess and manage clinical risk when undertaking this responsibility.
- Monitor and ensure the timely and appropriate implementation of care and support provided for residents over the period of a working shift.
**Key Requirements**
To be:
- A competent nurse practitioner and currently registered to practice with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
- Able to provide person centred and individually focused care and support.
- An excellent communicator who understands the importance of effective and appropriate multi agency and disciplinary working.
- Provide effective leadership and management of a team of staff and work well when under pressure.
- Lead a team of key workers in supporting the care needs of a specified group of residents.
- Work well with a team of nurses and with senior clinical staff who are there to provide support and supervision.
- To actively engage family, friends and other professionals in care reviews.
- Able to ensure the well-being and safety of all residents.
- Flexible when delivering care and support.
- Willing to adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Able to work well alone and as part of a wider team.

- £19 per hour pay
- Enhanced rates paid for full time staff - 1.25 times basic pay for overtime and 1.5% for Saturdays and Sundays
- 1.5 time basic pay for Boxing Day and New Year’s Day
- Double time for Christmas Day and Eater Sunday.

- £1000 bonus paid after successful completion of probationary period.
- Excellent training and development opportunities provided both in house and via external training providers when in line with the key skills required within the service.
- DBS and first year NMC registration paid.
- 6 weeks annual leave entitlement.
- Additional annual days leave after 2 years employment and a further day after 5 year's service.
