Job Title: Learning Disability Nurse Specialist

Location: Norfolk, UK

Salary: £38,618 per annum (inclusive of annual leave and pension scheme)

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our specialist learning disability rehabilitation unit in Norfolk. Our team provides comprehensive care and support to adult females with complex needs, including autism, personality disorders, and those with a history of offending behaviours.

  1. We are seeking a skilled nurse who can deliver high-quality care to patients with diverse and complex needs, promoting patient well-being and independence.
  2. The successful candidate will develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless transitions and outcomes.
  3. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, monitoring and assessing patients' physical and mental health, and maintaining accurate and timely patient records.
  4. As part of our team, you will participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development activities, adhering to all unit policies, procedures, and protocols.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin
  2. Experience working in a learning disability or mental health setting is highly desirable
  3. A commitment to delivering high standards of care and promoting patient well-being
