Murthly Sawmill is an established business specialising in the production of timber products for the agricultural and forestry industries as well as for domestic use.

**Job description**

Murthly & Strathbraan Estates are recruiting an accounts administrator to work with the sawmill manager to help the business run efficiently and profitably. The job will include:

- Accounting - weekly tasks include processing invoices for payment, setting up and managing customer accounts, issuing invoices to customers, chasing debts and banking cash and cheques. On a monthly basis, detailed reconciled reports must be produced for all transactions.
- General administrative duties - including checking delivery notes against invoices, record keeping of volumes of wood sawn and staff attendance.
- Annual stock take and working to ensure stock levels on the computer system are accurate.
- Assisting with marketing, including social media.
- Working with other staff - especially the manager and the yard foreman (to organise orders to be cut/gathered).

Generous salary based on experience, 30 days holiday per year, discretionary bonus, pension contribution.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm with 1 hour for breaks during the day. Some scope for flexibility within these times.

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Perth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
