An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PA to Interim Director of Estates

This is a superb opportunity to develop your career in Business Administration by joining our busy Strategic Estates Team at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust, based in Truro.

As PA to the Interim Head of Estates for four days per week, you will have an important role in representing the Interim Director of Estates to callers and visitors and will have the opportunity to work with a variety of teams, both within and external to the Trust, whilst developing your knowledge and skills in the hospital environment, with a high level of commitment and the ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive and commercial information will be essential. You will hold a key role in the delivery of a wide range of major capital and operational projects by providing a range of administrative and business services to enable the effective operation of the Interim Director. You will be organising diaries; booking and taking minutes for meetings; providing a telephone reception point of contact for the Interim Director of Estates; maintaining data files and databases, preparing reports and undertaking correspondence.

- Proven experience of working at Director/Executive level
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills
- Attention to detail and conscientious work ethic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ORC/RSA Stage 3 typing or equivalent experience
- Experience of working with computer systems and databases
- Some knowledge of estates and construction terminology is desirable
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Accurate use of grammar, spelling and
- An aptitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Discreet and professional manner - especially when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
