We have a rare opportunity for a Trainer to join our highly skilled and experienced Learning & Development Team. This is an exciting role that offers the opportunity to deliver training in multiple disciplines across our Midlands and Southern regions.

**The Role**

This role involves the following duties and responsibilities:

- Plan, design and deliver a wide range of training courses across the Heathcotes Midlands and Southern region, to enable our teams to meet the specific needs of the people they support.
- Deliver training in a number of essential areas, including: Infection Control, Food Hygiene, Mental Capacity & DoLS, Manual Handling, First Aid, Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Communication, Person Centred Working and Positive Behaviour Support, including restrictive strategies.
- Demonstrate responsibility and leadership for promoting all aspects of equal opportunities and valuing and adapting to diversity when delivering training.
- Promote Heathcotes’ mission and values.
- Record and collect data to be able to produce detailed reports on training attendance, performance and feedback.
- Contribute ideas and innovation to how training is delivered and performed.
- Any other duties required by the Head of Learning & Development.

**About You**

We are looking for the following skills, knowledge and experience:

- Experience working in the Health & Social Care sector is essential. This does not have to be in a training capacity, it can be experience performing any role in the sector.
- A level 2 qualification or above in Health & Social Care is essential.
- Due to the nature of the job requiring to travel to different locations, a full driving licence and access to your own transport is essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexible to travel to the locations required and overnight stays, when required.
- Proficient working with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,500.00 per year
