**The Role**

We at the Royal British Legion, believe in building on potential. The Membership Engagement Team provides support to our branches and membership and our Membership Engagement Officers enable this Team to be the best they can

The Membership Engagement Officer (MEO) is a key role, which inspires and engages our membership to be active and fulfil their role and purpose while remaining compliant with the Legion’s Membership handbook and policies.

We are looking for someone who can engage effectively with a range of audiences and both support and challenge stakeholders.

As our MEO some of your focuses will be;
- Provide organisational support, advice, and information to our members
- Work closely with County Committees, membership central team staff and other departments
- Connect and build relationships with Branches, through to compliance oversight and responding to membership queries
- Engage with new members - Inform them about the Legion within their first few months, connecting them to their local, regional, and national Legion events

**This role is home based although it requires travel throughout Berkshire and Buckinghamshire and occasional travel to National locations for meetings.**

**The role requires some evening and weekend work and a full UK driving licence.**
