**Processing/Customer Service Apprentice (Customer Service Apprenticeship)**

**Your role**

The Access Bank Apprenticeship program provides ambitious and talented individuals with an alternative route to a career in Banking. You'll earn a salary working whilst completing training for a recognised qualification.

You'll be joining a diverse dynamic team of individuals and a bank with an Investors in People (IIP)** Platinum** status. At The Access Bank UK Ltd, we have a clear purpose - we develop our people to become world-class professionals.

You need to have completed your A-levels or equivalent along with a level 5/6 in English Language and Maths GCSE.

**Duties**
- Check new account opening documentation received from Front Office teams.
- Ensure that all of the Bank’s Anti-Money Laundering, KYC and CDD requirements are met and all relevant searches are carried out.
- Create new Customer Identification Files (CIFs) and new customer accounts.
- Perform all aspects of ongoing account maintenance including the setup of customer Internet Banking, Visa debit cards and other account facilities where appropriate.
- Open, sort and distribute mail received throughout the day.
- Send customer documentations including statements and process the monthly account maintenance charges to customer accounts.
- Issue audit responses where requesting by internal or external parties.
- Provide support to the rest of the team, helping to ensure that all areas of work within the team are dealt with accurately and in a timely manner
- Take inbound and make outbound telephone calls and deal with enquiries appropriately.
