**Introduction**:
We are looking for a motivated and people focused supervisor to lead our tooling team here at Boeing London Gatwick MRO.

You will have a passion for coaching and mentoring people and leading the tooling team to provide outstanding and compliant service to the Boeing London Gatwick Part-145 maintenance operation and the wider Boeing network and customers base, with respect to the tool and GSE related support and oversight.

It is an exciting time to join our growing operation and you will be the critical link between our Tooling & GSE asset manager and the maintenance operation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the compliant operation of the tooling store and GSE equipment in line with Part-145 requirements
- Be passionate about people and lead with empathy
- Set direction and clear objectives, drive engagement by role
- modelling seek, speak & listen behaviours and ensure that the team is clear

- Monitor the day to day operational performance of the team

- Provide accurate and detailed information to key stakeholders

**Work Authorisation**:
Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- Full UK DVLA Driving Licence, category B for manual transmission (minimum of 12 months driving experience with a full licence).
- Able to obtain an Airside Pass and Airside driving permit.
- Team leadership skills.
- Sound understanding of the overall engineering operation and interdependencies of departments within.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements Part 145 MRO and legislation pertinent to the supply of aircraft tooling and ground equipment.
- Knowledge of using AMOS system ( desirable)

**Skills/Capabilities**:

- Strong people, coaching, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with complex situations.
- Experience of delivering operational performance balancing cost, quality, delivery and people.
- Proven leadership record and experience in leading a small team.
- Effective verbal & written communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret spreadsheets and performance data.
- Experienced in the use of AMOS (desirable)
- Valid forklift license (desirable)
