**Job title: Mental Health Compliance Officer**

**Hours: 40 Hours Per week**
**Salary: £2400.00 PA. Plus milage or the use of a pool car**
**(Plus on call allowance)**

**Location: Gloucester & South Gloucester (Office & Field Based)**

Bramble Homecare is a family-run home care company specialising in domiciliary and complex care and supporting people in their own homes. We take huge pride in providing compassionate and person-centered care to our vulnerable community.

As a Compliance Officer you will travel across Gloucester and South Gloucestershire visiting our clients and care workers, completing the initial assessment, and carrying out care plan reviews. You will be working alongside other healthcare professionals, as well as liaising with clients and their families.

You will also assist in maintaining the day-to-day service delivery rote, to ensure that all calls are covered with an appropriate career, considering service users' needs and staff availability.

**What you will be doing**
- Carry out duties to enable BHC to continue to comply with and meet all standards relevant to national regulation and local authority requirements.
- Carry out the initial Care Plan assessments for new Service Users.
- To carry out monthly audits on Service Users’ files, and communication logs.
- Give on-going support to new and existing staff and participate in the induction and shadowing.
- Quality assurance
- behavior risk assessments
- Management of Mental Health Support Workers, including all compliance
- Ensuring all calls are covered in line with Service User needs and staff availability.
- To deliver care and support when required
- Participate in company on call Rota.

**What we need from you**
- Previous experience within Health and Social Care sector, either as an Assessor, Compliance officer or Supervisor
- Excellent at building relationships with key stakeholders including the local council. enabling you to help with the growth of the service.
- Have an awareness of how to use rostering systems within the health and social care sector.
- Be able to work under pressure, priorities and stick to deadlines.
- Have excellent judgement and decision-making skills.
- Be flexible and able to sometimes work outside of normal working hours and occasionally work bank holidays and weekends.
- Full driving license and access to own vehicle is required for this position.
- Good communication skills both verbally and written.
