Ontic, an aerospace industry leading provider of ‘Extended Life Solutions’ for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has an opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team based at our office in Staverton, Gloucestershire for 6 Months to support our continued success and ambitious growth plans.
What will you be doing?
The main purpose of the Purchase Ledger Clerk role is to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments to suppliers, maintaining effective financial record-keeping, and supporting the organisation's financial operations. This role is crucial for managing outgoing financial transactions, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
What will you need to know?
Previous experience with purchase ledger /accounts payable function is a necessity. You’ll be happy working with IT systems and using Excel, sometimes at an advanced level, on a regular basis. You’ll be a confident communicator and be dealing with stakeholders across all levels of the business and be able to plan and prioritise your workload resolving queries in a timely manner.
