As a Utility Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in our projects by conducting detailed surveys to identify and map underground utility infrastructure. You will be responsible for utilizing various surveying techniques and equipment to accurately locate and record the position of utilities such as gas, water, electricity, and telecommunications.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct on-site utility surveys using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.
- Accurately interpret utility plans, drawings, and maps to determine survey locations and methodologies.
- Employ ground-penetrating radar (GPR), electromagnetic locators, and other relevant tools to detect underground utilities.
- Record survey data using digital mapping software and maintain comprehensive documentation of findings.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure survey objectives are met within established timelines and budgets.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols and industry regulations while working on-site.
- Travel to project sites across the UK as required, with occasional overnight stays.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Utility Surveyor or similar role, preferably within the UK.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as GPR, electromagnetic locators, and GPS devices.
- Strong understanding of utility infrastructure and the ability to interpret technical drawings and maps.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise with colleagues and clients at all levels.
- A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK.
- Relevant qualifications in surveying, engineering, or a related field are desirable.
