Clinical Admin Lead

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable individual to join the division as a Clinical Admin Lead for the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. This interesting role will provide day to day line management and professional supervision of the medical secretaries and junior administrators, as well as maintaining compliance for clinical activity in line with NHS waiting, i.e. RTT and cancer pathways and subsequent targets. The post-holder will also oversee all active RTT pathways, ensuring that patients are progressing appropriately in their management through their referral to treatment pathway.
You will require excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to manage your workload. You will need to be self-motivated, able to work in a calm, logical, and methodical way but be able to multi-task whilst dealing with frequent interruptions. You will be used to working to tight deadlines and be used to dealing with people at all levels both inside and outside of the organisation.
You should also have sound experience of PAS, particularly BEA, and a robust knowledge of the current NHS referral to treatments targets along with the practical experience to back this up. This role involves working closely with the Service Manager to support the delivery of national access targets.
