**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Cover all Receptions, where necessary, booking patients in for their appointment and asking all the demographics, changing patients details if required on EPR system sending patients to the correct location in the clinic for their appointment.
- Booking patients next appointment if applicable from a request list, or if patients return to the reception desk after their appointment, and wishing their next appointment to be made before they leave the hospital.
- Cashing up clinics from the morning and afternoon sessions within the SOP for Reception/Booking.
- Checking that all patients have been checked in/out or outcome from the clinic session.
- Liaising with Nursing staff and clinicians daily with regards to any queries during the clinic sessions.

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written
- Microsoft office skills
- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- NHS System Knowledge
- EPR and ERS (desirable)
- Previous NHS experience
- Previous admin/ reception experience
