Bid Coordinator

Our client provides a range of software solutions and IT services, helping their clients make the most of their data, to identify and support some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
This role would suit somebody already experienced in the evaluation and execution of bids and tenders, looking for a fresh new challenge.
The position offers a mixture of office based (Worcester office) and working from home.
**What we need from you as a BID Coordinator**:
- You will need a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar tender/bid role
- Have MS365 Office and CRM systems experience
- You will have excellent communications skills, always promoting good liaison with clients, management, and colleagues
- Can plan efficiently and work on multiple tenders at the same time
- Ability to evaluate tender details and summarise in an effective manner
- Maintain courtesy, professionalism and high standards of presentation in all communications with customers
- Analytical ability and attention to detail
- GCSE English or equivalent
**Desirable**:
- Previous bid administration experience
- Experience in a highly pressured environment
**What the role involves**:
You will be working with the consultant(s) who own each tender to create the strongest possible response.
**Duties include but not limited to**:
- Liaise with potential/existing customers during the tender process and record all activities
- Support company new business development as directed
- Learn as much as possible about the company’s products and services, to help filter tender opportunities and identify the most relevant
- Identify, prepare, issue and track bids and tenders based on product and client information
- Administer and co-ordinate tender submissions for new business
- Keep a detailed pipeline of bid opportunities ensuring that all software including CRM is accurate and up to date
- Coordinate internal activities within the team and wider stakeholder base to keep bids on track, using diplomatic communication skills
- Continually review processes and identify areas for improvement
- Carry out appropriate clerical and general duties, as may be required, from time to time by the Commercial Director
**Salary/hours**:£20,000 - £26,000 per year. Working Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm.
