We are recruiting for **experienced** HGV day drivers to work for our well established client based in Derby, DE11.
We have both HGV class 1 and class 2 work available.
The work involves delivering steel lintels to homes and businesses nationwide. There will be around 5 deliveries per shift. There is no handball involved as the load will forklifted on and off from the truck.
We are looking for full-time drivers to work Monday to Friday. The start times will be around 05:00 to 07:00 daily.
This is a long term ongoing contract with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right driver.
**Pay Rates**:
**Class 1**
- PAYE - £15.50 per hour
- PAYE Umbrella - £18.50 per hour
**Class 2**
- PAYE - £13.50 per hour
- PAYE Umbrella - £16.50 per hour
**Requirements**:
- Have a full UK HGV licence with either class 1 C+E or class 2 Cat C entitlement
- **Minimum of 12 months of recent HGV driving experience**:
- Have a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- Unfortunately, we are unable to accept Limited Company Drivers on this contract
**Job Type**: Temporary contract
**Salary**: £13.50-£18.50 per hour
