Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Pro1 Recruitment in Swadlincote. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering sheep carcasses during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport sheep carcasses to designated locations during night shifts.
  • Collaborate with a partner driver to optimize delivery efficiency.
  • Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition.
  • Assist with handballing activities as required.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license.
  • Previous experience in commercial driving and delivery operations.
  • Good understanding of traffic and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Physical fitness and ability to handle handballing tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
