The post is part of the Patient Safety & Engagement team leading the organisation's engagement with patients, relatives, carers and the public, working with external stakeholders and teams across the organisation.

The post holder will help support and drive the Trust’s engagement plans and activities and will be responsible for developing and delivering face-to-face and online engagement events and activities, and providing engagement and involvement support and expertise to our departments and services, in line with our Patient and Carer Experience and Involvement Strategy.

NCHC is a community trust providing a wide range of services across Norfolk and in patient's homes.

The post-holder will help to ensure communication needs of service users, carers and the public are acknowledged and met within each service and department by supporting the team with the implementation of national Accessible Information Standards.

The post-holder will support and help to effectively deliver and manager the Trust’s Family & Friends Test and also oversee other patient and carer surveys, supporting departments to gather insights and feedback from people who use our services and the wider community. The post holder will also help to collate and report on feedback data and support our services to ensure continuous quality improvement based on the feedback they receive.

The post holder will foster constructive relationships within the Trust and externally to ensure sound and effective two-way communication between the team and healthcare professionals, service users, external agencies and the public in dealing with and responding to patient and carer feedback.
